We have developed numerical programs in Fortran as well as Java applets and Java stand-alone applications of interest to the community of Interfacial Fluid Mechanics. To run these applets, you need a web browser that supports Java, such as Netscape 3.01/4.0+. We may have to enable Java in your browser.
Applets
- 2D Drainage Simulator : this applet simulates the time-dependent behavior of a liquid film, draining down a vertical 1-dimensional flat substrate; the user can vary such physical parameters as the liquid viscosity, surface tension and density.
- 3D Simulator : an extension of the previous applet to 2-dimensional flat substrate with variable inclination, generalized Newtonian rheology, variable contact angle, etc.
